The Land of Imagination Live is back!
A spell has been cast at Blackgang Chine on the Isle of Wight as areas of the park spring to life on weekdays this summer!
Our summer event, the Land of Imagination Live, is on select dates from 24 July to 31 August 2023.
Immerse yourself in our fantastical world at the oldest family theme park in the UK. Each day has a different theme and programme of events. Keep reading to learn more about them.
We’re bringing Blackgang Chine to life with epic live shows. Your children will love meeting their favourite characters. Watch their eyes light up as they take part in our interactive activities! There’s something for everyone. It’s not just a kids’ day out. The theme park, including our grownup attractions and thrilling rides such as Extinction, is open too.
Can’t decide which day to visit? Visit them all for FREE!
Buy a frequent visitor pass (FVP) or a general admission pass to attend.
Our general admission pass gives you an extra seven days of unlimited free returns to the park!
FVPs – you don’t need to book to come! All you need to do is show your pass at the gate.

Magical Mondays

Add a sprinkling of magic to the start of your week with our beautiful Blackgang fairies! Grab your wings and join the Fairy Queen and all her friends. They’ll grant wishes, cast spells, and fill the air with fairy dust. Take advantage of their live performances and puppet show every Monday!

Ahoy there! Our adventurers will sail on two galleon ships in Pirate Cove, exploring the seven seas. Get ready for a unique nautical-themed event on Tuesday! You can learn how to sword fight like a daring pirate, sing sea shanties during pirate karaoke, and watch a fantastic Pirate show. It’s going to be an extraordinary experience!

Come and experience the excitement of our Dino Enclosure at the Land of Imagination Live. Our resident dinosaurs are on the loose this summer, ready for a day of prehistoric fun! Join world-renowned palaeontologist Doctor Livingstone and his clumsy assistant Eugene for the thrilling Jurassica Dinosaur Encounter Show. Meet Cracker, Kinga, Tribus, and their baby Jurassic friends up close. Take part in exciting races and dinosaur activities!

Accessibility Friday

Experience the magic of inclusion at Blackgang Chine’s Land of Imagination Live. We’re hosting an accessibility session in Cowboy Town. From 9 am to 11 am, enjoy a relaxed cowboy show and engaging activities with characters.

Our park and rides open at 10 am. The serene first hour caters to all sensory needs, ensuring a tranquil experience.
