We all love a family day out… YAY!
But occasionally, the idea seems great and then the day… uummm, not so much!
So, you’re all set… the kids are beyond excited, the dog’s fussing about, and you can’t find the car keys or leave and then not sure if you locked the front door!
We get it.
We want you to have the best day, make loads of new memories and go home with the kids chattering about how much fun they’ve had.

Kids
Next, and most importantly, no one wants disappointed kids… we certainly don’t and work hard to make every visit to Blackgang Chine special.

Dog
Are we dog-friendly… oh yes!
Whether it’s your family pet or a seeing dog to support you on your day out, all dogs are welcome.
There are many places as you enjoy your family day out where you’ll find top-up water bowls, accessories in the Gift Shops or quiet areas where you can enjoy catch-up time with your favourite canine.

Travel
You can drive here, and we have a great big car park to make it super easy for you to park and get sorted for your family day. The Postcode for your SatNav of choice is PO38 2HN.
If you want to take the green, sustainable travel option, Blackgang Chine is on the Number 6 bus route, so you can get to us really easily. Maybe make it extra special and take one of the open-top tour buses for incredible coastal views on your way to see us! The Island Coaster stops right outside our front door!!
Snacks
Food, glorious food!
In our experience (and we’ve got quite a lot!), kids need fuel 😊
Throughout the day, you can pop into any of our delicious snack stops, cafes or restaurants to have a bit of downtime and fuel up. From delightful cakes and healthy snacks to full-on fish and chips, tasty lasagne, soups and salads or indulgent ice-cream treats, we can cater for every dietary need… just ask us how we can help.
Want to bring your own?! Choose from our many charming picnic sites to pop open your sandwich box, throw down a blanket and tuck into your own favourite snacks.
… and yes, we’d love you to stop by one of our brilliant Gift Shops as you leave!
